6.Application

Now we are going to introduce you the most general application of the ceramic foam filter used for melting Al

.Preparation

1)    put the filter into the filter house

2)    clean the surface of the filter and filter boxes

3)  Be sure to fix the filter well, so we ought to prevent it floating

.Pre-heat

1)    Put the filter and filter boxes into a  LPG  burner or a heater and pre-heat to 700-800 before use

2)    Notice: that the temperature increase uniformly when pre-heated

.Application for continuous use

1) When the first round of the continuous casting is completed, the filter and filter box should start to be heated, and keep them in a solution state, so as to prevent the pore be blocked up.

2) When the second round begin, we can start all processes again.

.Replacement of the filter

1)    When the increase of previous filting hight is more than, the filter is blocked up, so it must be replaced.

2)    Clean the liquid in the filter box while replacing the filter.
